The Chrysler 300 is yet another vehicle to consider. It has four doors and it has been crafted to be a family sedan or a luxury sedan, whichever you would prefer. It has the capacity to take in its cabin a maximum of five passengers. It has also been made available in eight trim levels which ranges from the Base to the C AWD. Its main competitor in the automobile market would be the Toyota Corolla although with new vehicles being introduced every now and then, it would not be surprising if the numbers go up.

Upon introduction of the Chrysler 300, the Base trim level comes equipped with a standard 2.7 liter V6 engine that is very much capable of producing some 190 units of horsepower. This makes the vehicle achieve 21 mpg for city driving and 28 mpg for driving on the highway. Made standard for this level is a four speed automatic transmission system with overdrive. As per the C AWD trim level, this comes mounted with a standard 5.7 liter V8 engine that can actually produce 340 horsepower. It can achieve 17 mpg in the city and 24 for driving on the highway. Made standard for this vehicle is a five speed automatic transmission system with overdrive.

According to Jeff Bell, Chrysler Group's vice president of Chrysler and Jeep's marketing division, "With the all new 2005 Chrysler 300, the premium is in the product, not the price. The all new Chrysler 300 is a $1,130 better value than the exiting Chrysler Concorde LX." And this is because the Chrysler 300 comes well equipped and elegantly styled. Features for this vehicle include 17 inch wheels, an eight-way power driver's seat, a manual tilt and telescoping steering column, a premium cloth interior, body color mirrors, door handles and moldings, self-sealing tires, power adjustable pedals, four wheel disc antilock brakes, an all speed traction control, an electronic stability control system, and an emergency brake assist system. This vehicle also holds the first original equipment manufacturer application of the Boston Acoustic Premium Sound System.

Bell adds, "The bottom line is that the Chrysler 300 is stunningly affordable. Chrysler 300 will attract domestic and import, mid size and full size vehicle shoppers, who might not have considered any Chrysler premium full size sedan before."
