[Q59]Quotes About Moving Forward
by John Hayes Jr, Joh
Unfortunately, the decision to move forward is still the major stumbling block of many of the doctors I have the privilege of working with on a daily basis. Their progress have been slowed down by their hesitation to making even the simplest decision. Putting off making critical decisions have greatly slowed down their growth by weeks, months, and in some very unfortunate circumstances years.

But I believe that the reason this most frequently occurs is a lack of clarity, a lack of vision. All too often, in general people, even we as highly intelligent doctors, are unaware of the vast opportunities that wait in our personal and professional lives, simply for the asking.

Those who are happiest, most prosperous and effective realize that it is this willingness to take action in meaningful directions on moment-to-moment basis is the ultimate in accomplishment.

Doctors, the decisions you make today will have profound impact on next year. And the direction that you take professionally as well as personally next year will also have very significant impact not only on the rest of your professional career, but as well on the quality of your personal life.

Right now, is simply the very best time to reflect very carefully on what this past year worked right, what needs to go, what needs to stay.

Frankly, the reason for these rapid and effective decision-making skills is that the speed of change is ever accelerating.

As we discussed in our groundbreaking Commanders of Change seminar, there has never been a better time to be in private practice, but only for those who possess clarity, a phenomenally well written game plan, remain strong, effective communicators, capable and willing to provide only the very best in health care services.

But there's something that's extraordinarily important to clarify first, and that is your personal vision.

First, (not last) the quality of life you want for yourself, as well as those closest to you.

Reality dictates that this future style of private practice will require breaking with the rank and file. Future practices will need a combination of all the best technology has to offer, the most cost effective systems and procedures, and time tested humanistic skills and compassion.

It's not enough that you have the pieces of this puzzle. Instead, the pieces must perfectly fit together.

Therefore, I courteously recommend that you begin assembling your puzzle now.

And in doing so, carefully consider all the consequences of your decisions. This is where exercise, quiet time, reflection as well as inspirational reading and study while developing fully your game plan, all carefully written out and diagrammed on paper will make a tremendous difference not only in how you feel, but how you act.

Once you have clarified this new vision, it is essential that all the steps you wrote as necessary to actually pull off its execution are first set into motion, and put into written timetables.

Then, perhaps most importantly choose your support system.

In my experience, it is those doctors who fully utilize great Support Systems, accomplish far more throughout the year than those who do not.

The best support systems provides you with all the information you will need, the personal as well as professional associations, camaraderie and affiliations that supply the building blocks, systems, plans and tools necessary to complete your puzzle.

But only YOU can reach out and grab it.

Remember, our staff, tools and systems are always here for you 24/7/365.

As a consultant this is what I strive for. Indeed, this is what the entire Perfect Practice Web team does for you on a daily basis.

I hope you fully take advantage of these fabulous opportunities for personal and professional growth.

You show me every day that you DO have what it takes to be Commanders of Change.

Gone are the days where you could just stuff keywords into your page hoping that if you repeated the same keyword terms hundreds of times you would rank highly, bringing you in a flood of traffic.

Nowadays the big search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Msn have become much more developed and optimising your site is now considered as a skill, an expertise as you may put it. To get a site ranking well you will have to understand how the search engine technologies work and you will have to know the ins and out of almost every coding language there is, no longer can you stuff keywords and expect to get away with it, most of the search engines will just shoot you down straight away.

To perform Seo you must have passion and the ability to keep up with trends, there are a lot of people that still think search engine optimisation is just about getting links to your website, that is a major factor in all aspects but to know how to obtain links naturally is where professional Seo skill is needed, optimisation should not be performed by somebody who does not have the knowledge or will, as it may end up affecting your rankings rather than improving them, you cannot just go out and think if you blast out a lot of links you will get high rankings.

Seo must be approached hands on you will need to get your hands dirty onsite before moving to offsite, you will have to tweak the coding, make sure everything is as it should be and do your research. Seo is a long term scenario and if you think you can get rankings within a few days then it would be better to find a loyal company who will explain all the ins and outs for you.

Seo in the long run will bring you everlasting long term traffic, there are also other methods of optimisation you can perform to bring rushes of short bursts of traffic such as social media optimisation. As social networks are the thing of the future this is where a lot of potential customers will be nesting so performing social media optimisation will kindly get your word out to them.
