Loy Krathong Festival is on the full moon of the twelfth lunar month, around November. This festival is for apologizing to the queen of the river. Some believed that to homage to the Buddha's footprint which located near the great Namtha River. On Loy Krathong Day at night, Thai people will go to the river to celebrate this festival by floating Krathong into the river in their ways.
