[C814]Colleges That Offer Business
by Danny Austin, Dan
The types of
businesses that work well under a business opportunity structure tend to have
two common characteristics. First of all, they're concepts that don't require a
common brand in order to convey quality or value to potential customers. Second,
they're concepts that are easy enough to learn that someone without experience
in the concept's operation can be taught whatever they'll need to know to be
successful in a relatively short period of time (say, two weeks of training or
less).

Most
business opportunities that are successful in selling a significant number of
business plans also feature a fairly low total investment (including working
capital and a grand opening advertising budget) to get started in the business.
They're almost always less than $150,000 in total investment, and many are under
$50,000.

The types of
businesses that don't tend to work well under a business opportunity structure
are usually ones with more complicated operations and/or ones that require
special licenses to conduct business, especially if the licenses take months or
years to acquire. It's also much harder to sell a business opportunity if the
total investment to start the business is greater than $200,000 or so.

Deciding to
expand your business by preparing and offering a business opportunity can be
very rewarding financially. And if you're the kind of person who gets
satisfaction from helping others achieve success, you'll probably find that many
non-financial rewards come to you after you start offering a business
opportunity based on your already successful venture.

There are a number of reasons why a company might consider finding reliable telemarketing services to help with their business. Not only can basic telemarketing be a very effective marketing tool, the services of another company can make it more efficient, more easily managed and best of all, more inclusive. Services that your company might not be able to provide with your limited resources can be covered through telemarketing services. Here are three common services that many telemarketing services provide and that can save you time and money.

Business Answering Service

When a prospect calls your business, is someone always there to answer the phone? The odds are that they are not. It's not your fault; it can be very hard to have someone available at all times to answer any phone call that comes in and even harder if phone volume picks up. However, telemarketing services are designed to make it so that you don't have to worry about this. Most companies will provide 24/7 information and help desk services to cover reception of any incoming calls. If you can be sure to never miss a call, you can be equally sure that you are constantly growing your business.

Taking Orders

Processing orders yourself can be tedious. Most businesses probably have better things to put their time towards and while streamlining your processes with online ordering can help, there will always be those who order by phone. Not only can telemarketing services provide 24/7 phone ordering support, they can save you time by making sure you don't have to camp by the phone whenever a client might call.

Virtual Personal Assistant

Having an automated system provided by telemarketing services can be very helpful in managing your administrative needs. These systems are often much less expensive than hiring someone fulltime to do the job and are familiar and easy to use for anyone who calls your company. They also ensure that all the questions a prospect or client might have are answered either via the phone system or by a member of your staff.

Cold Calling

No one likes to cold call clients for lead generation or even to follow-up call. Additionally, it can make your business look bad and associated negative things with you and your company if you personally make these calls. Telemarketing services can be very helpful in eliminating these concerns. You will be able to afford more cold calls, not worry about your office resources or reputation being tarnished and generate more leads all at once through such a service.

In general, telemarketing services provide a lot of the tools that a company needs to effectively grow and build upon a customer base. Reliable phone communication is a major step in showing your prospects and clients that you care and by outsourcing small parts of the process, you can save a number of resources, open up more time for working on projects, and ultimately ensure a happier, more productive work place all the way around.
