Have you ever noticed that home based business opportunities are like an over –hyped movie? You get all jacked up about how incredibly wonderful this movie is going to be, then after you watch it you realize that all that hype was complete BS! This is exactly how home based business opportunities are. They get you all jacked up about how your going to make money, and you soon find out that it's all BS! Why is this? Mostly because we're all looking for something for nothing, and let me let you in on a little secret…this doesn't exist.
Keep in mind that this is all coming from a person who has no vested interest in any home based business opportunity. You're not going to find a link at the bottom of this article directing you to some BS opportunity. I'm simply writing this because I've gotten burned in the past and it wasn't until I learned what I'm sharing in this article that I achieved any success with my online business.
Let go of the entire concept of a home business and start to think about your passion. What is it that you feel passionately about? Football, sewing, baking, hunting, children, dogs, turtles, asphalt, it makes no difference what the subject is, what's important is that you feel passionately about it. Whatever that subject is, figure out a way that you can bring value to the marketplace in relation to that subject, and you'll be fine. Let go of the idea of "getting rich fast". This doesn't exist either. All of the crap out there that claims you can is just that…crap.
The only way money can be made is by bring value to the marketplace. There's simply no other way. That value can be in the form of products, services, words, information, music, whatever. The point is that there must be value. And remember, have the business revolve around a subject that you feel passionately about so you don't mind the work. And there is going to be work involved, don't let anyone lie to you about this fact. The cool thing is that if your business revolves around your passion, it won't feel like work. Then you'll understand what Mark Twain was referring to when he said, "make a vacation out of your vocation and you'll never work a day in your life."> This, my friends, is the key.
