The Brantford OLG Casino was originally called the Brantford Charity Casino until they removed "charity" from the name and simply called it OLG Brantford Casino. Some of the profits do still go to charities; however, as they go to the Trillium Foundation, which gives the money to qualified charities. The City of Brantford, which is the facility's host, also gets a portion of the proceeds from the slot machines.

The Brantford OLG Casino opened in 1999 and has been very popular with residents as well as tourists. Open 24 hours, the casino offers 30,000 square feet of gambling space. Featured in this space are 69 table and poker games as well as over 510 gaming machines. A variety of games such as Texas Hold "Em, Caribbean poker, horse racing, blackjack and roulette are available for those feeling lucky. If gambling builds up an appetite, the restaurant Galileo's Buffet and Grill offers some delicious American cuisine. This association brings some great promotion wrestling events to Brantford that you won't want to miss.

It's lucky for everyone that they have the Kinsmen Club of Brantford, also known as Kin Canada. This non-profit Canadian service organization offers many events and activities for the community as well as thriving to instill a sense of national pride and positive values into the residents. They offer many forms of entertainment throughout the year. One of their most popular events is their Thursday night Kingo (Bingo). This organization is broken into Kinette and Kin clubs, which are either predominantly male or female clubs. They raise funds for many charitable organizations as well.

The Ford Plant also brings a lot into the lives of the Brantford residents. The Ford Plant is a non-profit and independent music venue that more than satisfies the music lover in all its participants. Some of the musicians and artists this venue has offered in concert include Wintersleep, Wolf Parade, Hidden Camera, Arcade Fire, Blue Rodeo and more. As a way to promote independent Canadian music, the Ford Plant features the Murdered City Music Festival, a weeklong event that takes place every August and has since its start in 2002.
