At the same time this device also function as the full Onboard (Trip) Computer, with parameters monitoring feature (such as distance traveled, average speed, average fuel consumption, etc.), diagnostics of malfunctions, and a router. In the near future CDD-Evolution devices will be supplemented with built-in park sensors, wide-range "anti police" radar-detector, fuel quality sensor, voice information system and wireless hands-free system based on Bluetooth protocol. URAL is the trademark that exists for over 20 years as of now. Originally it belonged to "Sarapul factory of radio recievers". Sarapul is a city situated in Ural region. That was a state factory. To be honest, all factories belonged to the state at that period of time. The factory made cheap but good-at-a-price car radio/tape recievers. In late 1990's the trademark was bought by "AutoAudioCenter" company (AAC). They still sold the Serapul-made receivers and also they sold receivers made by their own from eastern (Taiwan, Korea, etc.) components. Actually that was mostly an assembly manufacturing. The devices were still very good-for-the-price.
