Ever been fed up with all the hustle and bustle of modern life, work, the kids, keeping the home presentable and clean, well your not the only one. A few months ago I was just about at the end of the road with this modern life, tiered, stressed and dreaming of an escape to a land of simplicity, peace and calmness. Needless to say for me such a place doesn't exist in my present life and short of winning the lottery (which I don't even do) I thought I was condemned to this life of drudgery. As you may be aware I wasn't in the best of spaces, and I certainly needed some help! Step One Acceptance - after mulling all the unrealistic fantasies around in my head for what seemed like forever, I came to a point of calm, this calm grew as I realised that life is as it is, all the wishing in the world will not change that fact. The more I accepted this realisation the better I felt. Step Two Willingness - As my newfound acceptance gave me freedom from the futile wrestle of resisting reality, I became willing to take some kind of positive action to change the way things were. At first it started with a faint desire to do something different, and as I realised there were options, my willingness grew. I didn't have to stay stuck in the rut, I was feeling quite positive by now. Step Three Action - For me what was required was change, taking a situation that I felt overwhelmed by and then gaining power over my life by effecting change. This sounds really dramatic doesn't it? I identified what areas of my life I need to do something different in, and set about searching for solutions. I saw an ad on the web that said cleaning and creating a brighter future, and thought that sounds great maybe they can create a brighter future for me. I visited their site and found a solution to part of my dilemma, a lovely lady named Valentina who visits my home on Mondays for 3 hours, and believe me what a difference her 3 hours makes to my life.
Well now I have started on this new path I am now looking at my daily life with a new perspective, and I am going to build on this new foundation, maybe a swim once a week or lunch with the girls. I called these article 3 Easy steps, but taking them took me a long time to achieve. I'm grateful to my cleaner not only for the work she does but also for the freedom I have gained in making a positive change. Maybe my experience can help you to. So why not try the 3 steps on anything that your struggling with. Good Luck!
