1. Get A Fireplace-Now, there are many ways in which you can get this done, from inexpensive ways to expensive ways. But a Fireplace does really give you something to look forward to when your away from home, and is a really great place to unwind for the day.

2. Change the setting of the furniture once in a while- Change is good at times, by changing the position of your furniture, you don't get fixed to the same old outlook.

3. Lights- Get all types of lighting system for your place, if you're really crazy about looking after your money, get candles, or use the lighting system for really special occasions.

4. Carpets- You can add carpets to the floor, it gives a really whole new look and feel to your home.

5. Gardening- If you've a garden already, then good. If you don't have enough room for a garden, then get potted plants and spread them around.

6. Get Paintings or Paste Wallpapers- If you've the moolah, go for the original, or go for the replicas that is there in the market and spread them around. Or paste wallpapers that would be really different too.

7. Add a Surround System- There is nothing like music playing in the background, so get a surround system, so that for any important occasion, you can have any kind of music playing for you.
