I love the T-bow, so much so that I bought 17 of them! They stack one on top of each other and take up surprisingly little space in my back bedroom. I'm only reminded of them when I need to change the bed. When the mood is upon me I drag them out and take them to my Pilates classes. They add interest and make normal Pilates exercises much more challenging. My classes love them and so do I. When not in use they stack neatly in a corner. But now there is a rival to the T-Bow - Cue the music - It's called the Wave. The Firms Wave is similar to the T-Bow, it's shape is slightly different and it's made by the Firm a company in the USA whereas the T-Bow is made and manufactured in Switzerland. What are the differences between the Wave and T-Bow? 1. Whereas the T-Bow is moulded into a single curved piece of high density plastic, The Wave has a brace to help give it strength. The size and shape are almost the same although the T-Bow is less bulky and easier to transport. Unlike the Wave, the T-Bow is stackable which is an advantage only if you have several of them. 2 If we look at price there is a large difference. The Wave is just under $100 on the other hand the T-Bow will set you back over $160 (If you require international shipping even more) 3. The T-Bow comes with a demonstration booklet and a wallchart, with clear professional photographs showing the various exercises. The WAVE, on the other hand, comes with a wall chart and several DVDs showing various workouts - including Abs, Fat-Burning and Muscle Sculpting, along with a healthy eating guide. 4. Both can be used with elastic exercise bands, neither offers the bands as standard. However flexibands are inexpensive and can be bought from any sports store - in my opinion you don't need to buy specialised (and expensive) exercise bands. I rate both as excellent pieces of home exercise equipment which will burn calories and tone muscle. However the WAVE has my vote in terms of value for money and the package offered.
