How can you become successful in online marketing? What does it take? How do you start? What product or service should you market? How many websites do you need to have? How many hours a week do you need to work? These and hundreds of other questions you ask yourself when you just start your online marketing career.
Of course it is so important to choose the right product or service to market. To have a professional website. To understand HTML and other related technical things. To be able to write good sales copies. To get targeted traffic to your site. To do dozens other things related to online marketing. But the most important thing that makes your online business successful is and always will be you and only YOU.
Your own level of determination. You ability to learn. Your courage. Your ability to be persistent and even stubborn if you want. Nobody can be really successful in any newly opened online business in their first few months, unless a miracle happens or you are a pro.
You must be prepared to face a number of failures after you test new things. You must be ready to face a lot of challenges such as slow traffic, numerous technical questions, and just a lack of time to do everything you need! That is why majority of new online businesses fail and never live till their first birthday. Never allow the frustration capture your mind! Do not stop working even if you think you will never succeed.
I highly recommend you to be very well organized if you want to succeed in online business. Be prepared to write down and save dozens of usernames and passwords for all the marketing programs, article directories, forums and other related things. Create a file with all the names, usernames and passwords. You will want to save it on your hard drive but always make sure you have a copy on a disk or just on paper.
Do not panic if you think you are overwhelmed with information in the very beginning. Patiently study your e-courses and books through the end and make sure you understand them and really use all the tips they provide. Never skip chapters in your e-books, there is no shortcuts to success in online business. Never start another book until you read the previous one cover to cover.
Set a certain number of hours daily to work on your online business. In the beginning it will probably be not less than 5-8 hours a day, if you are serious about a good start. Have a realistic list of things to do every day, Do not list more than 5 daily tasks for yourself. This will give you a chance to enjoy small accomplishments more often and will lead you to bigger and more complicated projects easier. When you complete a task, always give yourself a pat on the back. Be proud of yourself and what you do in your online business.
Never give up. You will laugh at what I am going to say here but I am a mother of two, and this is what I always say about internet business when I talk to beginners. Treat your new internet business as a stubborn child of yours. Do everything possible to bring this “child" up and let it succeed. Never stop, never give up. Give it a lot of love and it will love you back eventually, with less work hours and more profit.
