Hartstone pottery has tried to fight ten minute pottery and show the world that hand- made, beautiful pottery is much better. The struggle was not easy and there were many setbacks, but in the end hartstone pottery is open for business and this is the most important result. This shows that traditional pottery has not lost its appeal or its prestige and that there are still people, many may I add, who take pride in owning hartstone pottery. Moreover, traditional pottery can also evolve as times change and it can adjust. Hartstone pottery showed this in the most eloquent way, by making the finest pottery combining the traditional and new way. Pottery must reach higher standards now and many had feared that traditional, hand- made pottery could not do this. Hartstone pottery has shown that this is possible and even if you mug is hand made, respecting some of the oldest pottery rules that does not mean that they can not be used in dishwashers, microwaves or traditional ovens.
