Seek out popular programs that cater to increasing traffic. There are numerous SEO companies and others that focus on this type of business.

3) Some of these sites will be designed and maintained by professionals.
Look for large companies that offer a full range of services in this area. Companies that offer Flash sites will probably do well in the foreseeable future.

4) The number of web pages available displaying ads will continue to grow.
The amount of money you collect on a per ad basis will probably decrease due to the increase in the number of sites seeking to display them. Diversify and look for innovative ways to monetize your site.

5) Internet sales will continue to soar, but, due to the increased competition, the amount of income per web site will probably decrease.
The big will get bigger, and it will more difficult for new, smaller sites to make a livable wage. Use whatever you can to grow and increase traffic. It will only get more difficult in the future.

If you doubt what I say, look at youtube. Video will continue to play an ever-increasing role and may eventually replace written content. Look into adding some sort of video option to your site.
