The music stops and I wait for the crowd to applaud. And I wait and I wait until my Mum say's "very nice dear, would you like a coffee". Taking this as a sure sign that mere applause would not convey the depth of their gratitude, I retire to plan my next show-stopping extravaganza.

In my head I hear the two Jimmy's (backing band) speaking to each other "it's all over mate, we can't compete with this guy" "Yeah man, the bar has been set too high for me".

Sad but true folks. I am the man who killed rock music as we know it and then like a phoenix from the flames started a whole new genre of music called 'airhead rock'.

'Airhead rock' was born on the day I bought a 1958 Les Paul Gibson. Instantly I morphed from a guy with no talent to the rock god person I am today playing to a fully packed kitchen.
