The different strategeies and techniques to market one's business online are virtually limitless. Failure is often the result when a new marketer attempts too many of these techniques at once. This challenge has been the end of many new marketer, so how does one overcome it? The answer to that question is completely dependent on each individual marketer.

Quick success is dependent on utilizing the new marketer's strengths while developing his or her weaknesses. Too many new marketers are left behind by letting their initial failures frustrate them, poor planning prevented them from realizing their full income potential.

The assessment must be complete and detailed. All of the skills that are relevant to future marketing campaigns must be analyzed. Again, every person is different and what will work for some won't work for others. For example, the new web 2.0 technology allows personal branding to be a very effective marketing tool, but not every new marketer will have the skills to capitilize on this technique early in their internet marketing career. Even more important than this assessment is the resulting ACTION steps that must be formulated and taken based on the knowlede derived from the assessment. This knowledge is extremely useful, but ultimately useless without ACTION. It's the action that will lead one to success.
