Especially when it is from the ones like the Sigur Ros, Beatles etc. Days back the buzz was about the upcoming Sigur Ros film, but before that the band has something more amazing to give the audience. They are now working hard for the most of 2007 to release a compilation album for the cool winters and the festive Christmas season by November called Hvarf-Heim.

This cousin release, Hvarf-Heim has two titles because it is in effect separate, but complementary to each other. Though the band were originally requested to present a traditional live album coinciding with the live film, but there were many cons. May be because of that Sigur Rós have put forward Hvarf-Heim which is expected to be more stimulating and exciting.

This compilation is sure to win the hearts of the music lovers as some of the evergreen ones are still occupying its place. Hvarf-Heim includes three previously unreleased electric songs, including Salka, Hijomalind and i gaer.

The noteworthy thing about the album is that if you open it one way and it's Hvarf which signifies "disappeared" or "haven". This five track electric studio record mainly comprises the unreleased rarities from Sigur Rós’s past performance and none of its number is to be found in 'Heima'. On the other side it is ‘Heim’ which signifies "home" comprising a six track acoustic record. It includes some of the unleashed versions of the most glorious moments of Sigur Ros, which were never performed earlier.

Usually compilation albums includes most hit packages of a band but Hvarf-Heim includes completelynew editions, released and unreleased songs that have been striking around the world of Sigur Ros for almost a decade.
