Use offline meet ups to create exposure for yourself and your site. Around the globe and around the year, there are never-ending seminars be it internet or your related niche. Attend them and generate exposure. You may even be able to forge online and offline joint ventures via collaborations.

Provide blog comments on other's blogs. Give constructive opinions or quality information to generate backlinks to your own sites. Note that some webmasters will deem you as simply trying to get backlinks if you provide unrelated one liners.

Leverage on affordable offline advertising to drive traffic to your online site. Wear your site if you have to, on your Tees. Or print your URL on your car, external of your house, windows of your high rise apartment, as screen savers, give away URL stickers etc.

Submit your posts to Social networking sites. This is the age of new media, social networking is a free and effective means of communication. You should leverage on this channel especially when your targeted niche are between 15 ? 35 years old which forms the largest group of social site users. Do active social bookmarking. Help them help you make more friends and visitors to your sites by creating bookmarking icons on your blog.

Submit articles to blog carnivals. Make sure that you submit only the best from your article collection and do not spam them.

While some are more powerful than others, always bear in mind that every little tactic you deploy will eventually yield you some traffic, albeit not instantaneously. The key is patience.
