Drive Traffic With 5 Key Must Have Features In Articles
by Yoshiko Choy, Yos
Article Marketing has been known to be the driving force in driving traffic to a website. Articles are a factor in giving site high rankings in search result pages. The higher in the pages of the organic search engines, the higher the likelihood of being visited at your site and the higher the amount of traffic generated at the site as well. A high traffic volume probably means more profits and more potential for other income generating schemes as well.

A well written article will catch the eyes and interest of your customers and keep them coming back for more. They would also be able to recommend your site to others.

Here are 5 key tips that you must include whenever you write any article to ensure that fully benefit from organic searches and creating traffic generating sites that brings in income flow for your sites.

Mind Your Keywords and Keyword Phrases.

I always ensure that any article I write is centered on the main keywords and keyword phrases which I want to optimize. Knowing how people do online search will give you a clear idea why you need to focus on your keywords or keyword phrases. A searcher usually goes to a search engine and types in the keywords they are looking, for instance, Hybrid Cars, Meningitis, Tax Lawyer or anything one could think of.

Hence, from your perspective as a webmaster who wishes to optimize the traffic of site, you would obviously want to best leverage your main keywords or keyword phrases in your articles or your website postings to ensure that the searchers find you via the search engines.

Write More For Humans And Less For Spiders.

You must never riddle an article with your keywords. Your articles must be written more for humans than for the search engine spiders. Imagine the frustration of finding keywords infested within your article only the spiders could read and making no sense to the human reader. Your articles must be able to convey your story, provide good information to resolve your reader's needs as well as entertain your readers.

Brand yourself as the expert in your subject matter with the correct tone, give well researched figures, facts and statistics if your topics are information based. A good and well written article will boost your reputation as an expert in your chosen field or topic. As more people believe in you. They will be able to trust you and your products.

Keyword Density Outdated?

Although Keyword density is less a key criterion compared to other feature today, it is still important to note that you need to have a certain number of mentions of your keywords within your articles. An article with good keyword density gives the search engine ?feel? of its presence. Do not overdo the keyword density of your article and by today's standard, keyword density could be about 6 % to 10% to rank reasonably.

Leverage Your On Page Optimization.

As in any posts you make in your site, you do the same for your articles. You need to ensure that your on page optimization is fully leveraged. Use the correct keywords in your headings, title tags and meta tags. Imagine how the spiders crawl your site and you would know how to manage your article marketing as well.

Optimize Your Resource Box.

The article body is your ?give? to the article directories. The Resource Box is then your ?take? whereby you include your website links as well as anchor text links to drive traffic to your website. You should fully leverage on this opportunity of the ?take? to ?sell? your site as much as possible, within the boundaries of the directories? guidelines.
