In the latest Givenchy gossip, it appears that Hubert de Givenchy is accusing the Givenchy company of what he calls, doing junk. There is no known elaboration of his claim, other than his own opinion. It would appear that he is not happy with the products that the company has been turning out as of recent. Further comments reveal that he believes that the fashion industry is no longer in the business of making women appear beautiful but rather in making (hand)bags and shoes that are more and more ugly.

Could it be that Bill Blass is in trouble? According to a recent press release after the resignation of the brands designer, Michael Vollbracht, it was claimed that Vollbracht made the statement that, when making big handbags is the only thing that will save your business, then designing clothes is finished.
