Medical scientists and policy makers around the world have produced a number of different ways in which to measure bodies and being fatty overweight has been termed as the condition of increase in weight and fat spread over the body. Men usually tend to store their fat over the upper half portion of the body. Head, neck, arms etc. usually exhibit this fat storage. 2. The age factor: When some people eat excessively up to a certain age and the obesity occurs due to poor functioning of the system.
3. Overeating issues: It is said that a family's eating patterns can have a major influence on whether children maintain a healthy weight. Overeating is a big problem in many countries and one of the major cause of being obese.
4. A stale body: People hate it when it comes to accepting the fact that they don't maintain a healthy lifestyle of having enough exercise and muscle movement. Stale body becomes overweight pretty easily.
5. Psychological factors: Negative emotions, such as depression, have been found to induce obesity in men and women alike.

Dieting for fighting obesity: Most fitness experts would agree that dieting is probably the most important part of obesity treatment. Weight-loss diets restricts the intake of specific foods, or food in general, to reduce calorie intake and bringing down the fat and carbohydrate intake to minimum but maintaining sufficient protein in diet.

O Non-fatty soups, mildly salted broths of vegetables preferably taken without bread
O Lean Meat: Skinless chicken or turkey breast, Fish, including shellfish, tinned tuna or salmon. Lean cuts of beef with egg (one a day).
O Small quantities of fresh butter and liquid paraffin.
O Milk (skimmed and unsweetened) that is fat free. Protein bars, Healthy milk shakes.
O Cheese Sandwich: with reduced fat cheese
O Potatoes in very small quantity.
O Green vegetables, raw vegetables and fruits.
O Very small quantity of salt. Butter Dash of salt.
O Fruit juices, cherry or grape tomatoes Juice, clove garlic.

O Bread and biscuits tend to have high carbs and can lead to excess of body fat as the extra energy gets stored as fat.
O Fatty soups, meats and fish that are high in fat.
O Sausage Meat and stews.
O Fat pork, bacon, corned beef, regular luncheon meats, and commercially frozen fish.
O Fried foods.
O Butter, oil, cream and milk products rich in fat
O Cornflakes, Breads, cereals, pasta and rice are high in carbohydrates. Avoid them.
O Mayonnaise, ice cream, fermented cheese, chocolate
O Avoid mushrooms and dried vegetables
O Bananas, chestnuts, walnuts, jam, syrup, honey, cocoa and chocolate.
O Wine, beer, cider and all kinds of alcoholic or sweetened drinks.
