A 0.5 probability signifies that there is 50% likelihood of something happening, therefore, a Page Rank of 0.25 means that there is 25% chance of a person clicking that particular page. Let's understand this with an example - Let's take four web pages P, Q, R, and S on internet. Since the approximation will be divided equally amongst the pages, each document will have a Page Rank of 0.25. If pages Q, R, and S each only link to P, they would each confer 0.25 PageRank to P. Thus, Page P will get a higher Page Rank of 0.75 [0.25+0.25+0.25].
