African Safaris are without doubt the most rewarding and soul enriching experiences one can have in life. I was born and raised in South Africa in 1960 and my first safari experience was in the Kruger National Park at the tender age of five. From then onwards my family used to visit the Park at least four times a year and this was when my passion for wildlife was born. The Kruger National Park will always be my second home and holds a very special place in my heart. In 1994, with Africa now firmly entrenched in my blood, I started Taga Safaris and began to live my passion and dream.

This new adventure opened up a world of oppurtunities for me and soon I was criss crossing Southern Africa's wilderness areas experiencing new frontiers. From the Namibian coastline, through the Sand Dunes, the Okavango Delta, Savuti and Linyanti, the Chobe National Park, Hwange National Park, Lake Kariba, Mana Pools, Busanga Plains, South Luangwa National Park, etc, I have had a life changing experience.

For many people an "African Safari" is a once in a lifetime experience, but they soon discover that their once in a lifetime experience becomes an annual event. That is what an African Safari does to you. Nowhere else in the world will you find such peace and tranquility as in the African bush.
