Based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania -- the Eagles are a professional football team which was established back in 1933 when they were part of the Eastern division until 1949, from 1950 until 1952 they played under the American conference, 1953 to 1969 they were part of the Eastern conference under the Capitol division and from 1970 until today they have played under the national football conference East division. Their two most recent home fields are: the veterans Stadium and the most recent one at Lincoln financial Field. The general manager is Tom Heckert and the head coach is Andy Reid.

The Philadelphia Eagles has been a very successful pro football team which has earned three conference championships (1960, 1980 and 2004), they were the NFL is division champions in four different occasions (1947 to 1949 and 1960) and they have also been NFC East division champions in seven locations (1980, 1988, 2001 to 2004 and 2006). To top it all they have been three-time NFL champions, the first one was 1948 when they defeated the Cardinals by a score of 7 to 0, in 1949 they defeated the Rams 14 to 0 and a 1960 they were able to overcome the Green Bay Packers by a score of 17 to 13.
