Nokia E55 Or Nokia E75 - Which One Is Better?
by Caroline Telford, Car
When comparing the Nokia E55 and the Nokia E75 you will find that although they are alike, they are different in some aspects and the same in others. We'll take look at the different features of both of these mobile phones and see how they compare with each other and we'll try to see if one comes out better over the other.

The first feature we'll look at is the keyboard. Both of these phones come with QWERTY keyboards, but the E75 has a slide out full QWERTY keyboard, which is extractable from the side and has a standard numeric keypad. Whereas the E75 has a compact QWERTY keyboard also known as the "hybrid keyboard", where two letters share the same button.

Both phones come with on board cameras and they both have 3.2 megapixels with an LED flash. But the E75 has an 8x digital zoom and autofocus while the E55 has a 4x digital zoom with no autofocus. They both include video and voice recording.

Both of these phones use microSD (TransFlash) cards up to 16GB. However, the E75 comes with a 4GB card included while the E55 comes with a 2GB card. But the E55 does have 60 MB of internal memory while the E75 only carries 50 MB.

The displays on both mobile phones are 240 x 320 pixels with a screen size of 2.4 inches. The E55 however does weigh in at a sleek 98g with a dimension of 116 x 49 x 9.9 mm and 54 cc, whereas the E75 comes in at a slightly bulker 139g and a dimension of 111.8 x 50 x 14.4 mm and 69 cc. Both phones also work in both landscape and portrait modes.

As far as the battery goes the E75 uses the Li-Ion 1000mAh with a talk time of up to 5hrs 20min with 2G or 4hrs 12min with 3G. You also get up to 25hrs of music play. The E55 however uses the Li-Ion 1500mAh and has a talk time of up to 8hrs with 2G and 6hrs with 3G. You get up to 18hrs of music play with this mobile phone.

For all of you gamers out there, you can download some of your favorite games on both of these phones and the E75 is even N-Gage compatible.

The features that both of these phones have totally in common are they both come with messaging and email, GPS support, Stereo FM radio with RDS, Bluetooth, v2.0 microUSB, speakerphone and phonebook with practically unlimited entries and fields along with photocall.

In my opinion it's hard to choose which one of these phones is the better one. Both phones have features that offset each other and that will appeal to different people. Ultimately it will come down to individual tastes and needs.

However, no matter which of these mobile phones you like best there's no doubt that Nokia has come up with two great editions to their E-series line with the Nokia E55 and the Nokia E75. Both of these phones are worth having, but that's just my opinion.
