I remember, after going through a foreclosure, saying to myself, ?I'll never be broke again.? You see, I did everything right, I was working for Hilti, a global construction equipment manufacturer and making a very good living for myself. I had ?A? credit, 3 cars, the biggest house on the block and only 32 years old'I HAD MADE IT! Then, a series of events hit me that just tidal waved. I lost EVERYTHING! And I remember saying to myself, ?I'll never be broke again.?

Fast forward a few years and a couple of mind changes and I've come to realize that challenges, setbacks, delays and the such are all just a part of the game called success. You see it's not that you will never go through anything, it's how you deal with the thing that will determine your outcome. So in my constant studies and mind reconstruction, I've come to learn one very important thing; being broke is a temporary thing, being poor is a mindset.

Take Donald Trump for example, multi ?billionaire who lost everything after a failed marriage. He was for all intensive purposes?BROKE! However, now, just a few years later, he is once again, one the world's wealthiest men. Now, look at the vast majority of lottery winners, they come into this large sum of money and within one to two years they are in worse conditions than before they won the lottery. Why? Mindset!

You see, Mr. Trump is programmed to succeed, against all odds. He has overcome so many before, this was no different than any other obstacle. No obstacle is bigger or smaller than the other, they are all just obstacles. Contrary, when a poor person comes into money, they are not equipped mentally to handle it, so what do they do? They blow it. Parties, cars, houses, loans to friends and family and all of the groupies they have now acquired. Isn't it amazing how many friends you have when you are flashing money around. So within a few months to a year they back where they came from or in an even worse situation-because of their poor mentality.

A successful person understands that it will take, sometimes, long hours away from family, overcoming challenges, doing, when you don't feel like doing, whatever it takes, because the desire to be free of whatever is in their life is greater than the temporary sacrifices that may have to be made in order to get to their success. A poor minded person wants everything handed to them, free housing, food stamps, and I'm not downing the system, when it was developed I'm sure it was with good intentions, it's now just pretty much corrupt. I said it! It's my article, I'll say what I want. Stop reading if you don't like it. Poor minded people are traditionally lazy, won't face, let alone overcome any challenges beyond finding someone to do it for them. And, poor minded people are destined to live their lives in the rat race of working harder for the money, so that the government can take more it, along with social security (which you may never see), and by the time it's all said and done they have worked all those additional hours for a measly extra hundred dollars or often times less.

When I lost everything, I literally wanted to curl up and die. I mean I worked so hard to get everything in my life back on track and to think about doing this all over again was painfully painful. But, I knew that what was deep inside me had to come out and I wearily picked myself back up and started my own business. I had ups and downs setbacks, upset clientele, and the more. But I don't know how to quit! It's a Blessing and a curse at the same time I suppose. The successful mind, knows to keep moving even when all odds are against them. If you paralyzed, move a toe, can't move a toe, blink an eye, just keep moving something until you get to your breakthrough. That's the mentality of the successful person.

So, which are you? Are you the poor that will always dwell among us, or are you part of the us?
