You may be wasting a lot of money if you adapt a dieting plan which does not work. However, the worse case is that a bad diet may even affect your health adversely. This is the most problematic issue. A badly chosen diet can actually bad for your health.

There are some diets which will only lead to water loss. You will feel that the dieting plan works because you will lose a few pounds. However, losing water is certainly not the way to lose weight. Your weight will gain again when you drink some water. Do you think it is healthy to lose so much water?

Certain diets will cut your intake of calories. It is very true that you may be able to lose weight if you lower your intake of calories. However, if you do not take enough calories, you will not have the energy to function properly. This will certainly affect your daily life. On the other hand, you will not have the energy for metabolism if you do not get enough calories. This will affect the efficiency of fat burning and as a result your weight loss plan will also be affected.

Another point is that, when you are on diet it does not mean that you will eat healthily. One of the most important reasons for you to start your weight loss plan is to be healthier. It will be ridiculous to adapt a dieting plan if it does not teach you to eat healthily. There is no point to become slimmer if you will lose your health eventually.

There are a lot of dieting plans which will lead you to the status of starvation. Do you think it is something good for you? This answer is certainly a NO. There is not point to starve yourself since it is not good for your health. Besides, you may tend to eat more food when you have a chance. This means that you will eventually eat more than you need.
