I had my first camping experience a few years ago and to tell you the truth, I was not so sure about it. Whatever you choose to take will depend on the time of the year and the problems you might encounter. If you or your friends chose that time of the year where mosquitoes make their special appearance on stage, take one or two bottles of insect protection. Ask which brand works best, even though most of these products scare mosquitoes away. The truth is that the effect does not last that long and eventually you will have mosquito bites everywhere. Check the best products with your camping friends and try to keep your protection spray close. You will probably need more than one application if you want it to work.

Camping is fun and people always associate it with nature, long exploration walks, nighttime scary stories around the fireplace, songs, drinks and uncomfortable sleep and seating. It does not automatically have to be this way. If you are very picky about bugs crawling up your legs or inside your clothes, best thing you can do is not sit on rocks, grass or sandy ground. Take camping chairs or cots. Coleman chairs are the best ones, they come in all sizes and they have the best prices. You are definitely going to be a lot more comfortable and safe from creepy bugs.

You might be meticulous about many more things like food, water, finding a bathroom, rainy weather etc. These things do not mean you have to miss out on the fun. People love camping so much that they have tried to make it easier for others to enjoy it as much as they do. Look for the best solutions for the camping problems you might face, and go for it! Once you experience camping like many others, you will realize that camping experiences are worth the try.
