An autoresponder is needed so that it can follow up with your visitors automatically for you. It may come in the form of a software or a paid service.

You may also want to consider starting a blog. It is recommended to use a wordpress blog. You will need to register for a webhosting account as well as a domain name. You should choose a domain name with relevant keywords.
The purpose of a blog is to provide your visitors with relevant and useful content regularly so that you visitors will return to your blog. You will then be able to sell services from your blog.
Obviously, it will take some effort for you to generate sufficient traffic to your blog but all business will require you to put in some effort.
You should try to master how to generate free traffic. This is especially important to people who have limited funds as well as beginners. Some free traffic generation techniques are article marketing, forum posting, social networking site etc.
Take not that you do not need to master every single technique. Just pick one or two that you like best and master them. You do not want to become a jack of all trades but just a master of one or two. Only when you master them do you go on to explore other techniques.
