Your dreams are very alive. I don't mean those daydreaming moments to escape our everyday problems. I am talking about those things, you actually want to do, be or have. There is a big difference between daydreaming a creating a vision which you truly want to live.

The process of deciding what you want, should not take long. After all, I am sure you have lived for some time, and know at least roughly those things you like, and those you don't. For example one person may like to fly planes as there vision, while another may be scared of even getting in an airplane, and may prefer to be an on the ground by being a CEO of there own business.

Whereas deciding what you want and setting goals, may take only a few minutes, a few days or even weeks, it should not take up more than the most smallest amount of time before you start acting upon them. I have to stress this point; you don't want to be someone who keeps leaving the goal setting till last, because you want to create this perfect vision.

First you must begin with something, and then build upon it. This is the only way to make the progress now, and live the vision sooner. Think for example going somewhere, where you don't know. First you will decide on your destination. Next, you will look at a map to plot a course, and then you take action. In most cases, the journey should take the most time or rather the action.

Action is a critical part of goal setting. Without creating a vision you can not know what to do, and without the key action, you can not build your vision! This is important as most people don't realize that a less clear vision, with the most action is more likely to produce results than having a vision which took years to create, but has very little action.

A house is built, and though the architect has a great plan on paper, we won't see its splendor until you take action. So, action is important, and without it, we become like dreamers who can dream, but can not live it. To live it, you will need to build it.

Building something needs action, and generally a lot of it. If you have a lofty ideal, a vision in your heart, that is bigger than what many would take no action on, for you to live it, you will need to build.
