Characteristics Of The Zodiac Venus In Pisces
by Victor Epand, Vic
In an astrological chart, the planet Venus is associated with how a person expresses their self in their relationships- especially in love, attraction and marriage. It describes how beauty is appreciated and interpreted by the person and also how they relate to others. The sign of the Venus is often the same as the Sun since they can never be more than forty five degrees from each other. In the cases when the signs are identical, the behavior the person has towards people in general translates into their romantic life. If the signs are different, there is a disparity between how they treat people in general and how they treat people they are romantically involved with.

People born with their Venus in Pisces are tender hearted and compassionate when it comes to romantic relationships. They feel somewhat lost without understanding and love. This need is so strong that they will cycle through the highs and lows of being in then out of love. They are understanding and caring but also very dependent on their partner- to the point of neurosis. But this vulnerability is soft enough that it can draw in potential partners. Their warm personality will make those partners want to sit down and stay awhile. And this person greatly needs to have admirers in their vicinity.

This sign carries the trait of dependence the strongest. If the person with their Venus in Pisces isn't dependent on their partner, their partner will be dependent on them. But they are likely to make a great deal of sacrifices for their relationship. Their partner is likely to be the dominate one who gets the most advantage out of the situation due to their tendency to think with their heart and not their head. It will take them time- and a lot of poor choices- to realize that they need to stop collecting partners from the masses of those down on their luck or in need. In an ideal relationship, their partner would be someone that would be willing to be needed without taking advantage of that status. If the proper equilibrium is established, the partner will be awarded the coveted spot of being completely and utterly loved and adored.

They are easily hurt due to their sensitivity but will not express it vocally. Because they sacrifice so much for a relationship, when it doesn't work out they can feel- and act- as if they were a martyr. Afraid of rejection, they may refrain from expressing any feelings that may push their partner away. Bottling up their emotions may lead to some moodiness though they are likely to express it more around friends and family than their partner. Their sense of identity is so tightly attached to their personal life that failed relationships can seem like they have actually taken a part of that person with them. Recovery time is slow and painful. But they are also bad at learning their lesson and are prone to make the same mistake again in the future.
