A holiday in Bonaire is always exciting and fun. You can visit many different places for adventures, fun in the sun or sightseeing. If you are looking for some sites to see, you want to visit Cabaje. You will see some incredible stone huts that have no windows and about waist high. The stone huts were built in the 18 century and slaves were housed here. If you would like total time diving, you should visit Klein Bonaire. Many people find that the diving is spectacular. You can only reach this area by boat. It is a fantastic place to have a picnic lunch and do some scuba diving.

Another place to go diving and snorkeling is Nukove. You will find Nukove by Washington Slagbaai National Park. Even if you do not want to do any scuba diving or snorkeling, you can wade into the water a bit off shore and you will see some beautiful blue tangs and parrotfish by the reefs. Goto Meer is a place to see all the flamingos. This is a place to go and spend the entire day just watching the flamingos eat, walk around and enjoy the sun. The best time to go is between January and July when the flamingos are as pink as can be. It is a beautiful sight to see.

In Onima, you can see limestone caves that were once inhabited be the Caiquetio. This place offers you something mysterious, but yet beautiful. Visitors like to disco explore this area and spend the entire day looking at the petroglyphs on the walls. If you are looking for an area in Bonaire to do some windsurfing, you will find Lac Bay the perfect place. There are some great winds, clear waters and an abundance of beachfront. This is a wind surfer's paradise, but there are some other areas in Bonaire that are just as nice to do some windsurfing.

In addition, Lac Bay Kai, you can enjoy a Sunday afternoon festival. It is more of a social gathering where children play, they have outdoor food stalls, live music and dancing. It is a place where everyone gets together and enjoys a warm afternoon of Caribbean hospitality. If you want to meet the residence of the island this is to go on Sundays. You will be welcomed with open arms and be encouraged to participate in the dancing and the fun. It is not unusual to see some families walking home from the party with a captured iguana since there is so many of them around the area.
