An All Inclusive Honeymoon In Barbados
by Andrew Watkins, And
It seems a Mission Impossible, but after some research we came up with the Island Inn. It is a small all inclusive Hotel, housed in a former Rum Store for British Regiments, and dates back to 1804, and is now part of the historic Garrison Area in Bridgetown Barbados.

What we have here is the almost perfect all inclusive honeymoon hotel that ticks all the right boxes. It is quaint, simplicity in itself, and full of old world charm, and a lovely atmosphere to boot. The building has been restored as close as can be possible to its original appearance, and if you hate hustle and bustle, noise, and large hotels generally, then you will just fall in love with the Island Inn Hotel, even although it doesn't look like much when you first see it!!

Every guestroom is unique, no box like structure this, and if this is your all inclusive honeymoon destination, then make sure your room is in the original historic building so you can experience the rich four poster mahogany beds wit the original exposed bricks. On the other hand if you want a larger room and traditional Caribbean furnishings, then opt for the newer block with patios opening onto the pool or the garden. Whatever you choose, and if this is your honeymoon then go for the original building, and feel part of the history. The rooms are lovely and clean with clean linen and towels every day.

What you are going to experience at the Island Inn Hotel is five star treatment at three star prices. A large part of this is down to the exceptional staff who are quite superb in their level of care, enthusiasm, and efficiency. In a small hotel as good as this you very quickly seem to become part of their family. It is the delight they have that you chose their hotel in which they have great pride. You just never get this in a large hotel, and also in a boutique hotel like the Island Inn Hotel, it seems the guests take the time to chat, and get to know each other. It must be something to do with like minded people.

With so much building going on in Barbados, there is a concern that the island will be spoiled. Insofar as the Island Inn Hotel is concerned this will never happen because of its situation in the historic Garrison Area. You are two minutes walk away from a lovely beach, which is both quiet and safe, and only noisy at the weekends on a Sunday when the locals enjoy family time on the beach.

You will enjoy the restaurant not only because of the freshness of the ingredients, the quality of the chef, and delightfully waitress service to the table. Far too many supposedly five star establishments now only have buffet, and then it is a mad rush.

The whole ethos of the Island Inn Hotel was one of Caribbean charm. The all inclusive element works very well, and is quite unobtrusive, with no idiots trying noisily to drink themselves into a coma, because it just isn't that sort of hotel.

If I were choosing a Barbados Luxury Hotel for my honeymoon, I'd pick the boutique Island Inn Hotel, wit the bonus of all inclusive every time.
