The mold and mildews are there from the discovery of the earth as a planet. Mold, infestation is from the fungi family. After germination the mold's hyphae (or root like structures) secrete digestive enzymes that break down organic material. Moisture is necessary for the enzymes to be effective. Fungi are considered as the irritants of these diseases.
