As with anything else, Outlook Express can be tough to use. It's even tougher when you run into errors while trying to use it.

Dozens of things can cause errors with Outlook Express. Most of them are failed connections, Address errors, failed email delivery, POP issues, and strange Outlook crashes.

Failed connections are usually the easiest to fix. This is usually caused by not being connected to the Internet or Outlook Express failed to connect to the email server in the proper amount of time.

Opening Outlook Express and getting an error message stating the Address Book failed to load properly can be a pain to fix. Luckily, renaming the .wab file and restarting Outlook Express usually fixes this.

Email errors can be anything form of bad email that Outlook fails to load properly. Most of these are temporary problems like Internet congestion or some times something major like a server being down at the time.

POP errors are similar to email errors. Usually there is a problem with your connection or the email server you are trying to connect to and use.

Outlook can also crash with any number of weird errors. Usually the only way to fix these kinds of errors is to update Outlook Express or to completely reinstall it.

Fixing Outlook Express is pretty easy most of the time. Unfortunately, sometimes other software is needed to properly fix the error.
