Article Directories Ranked By Alexa And Why You Should Care!
by Teri Mramer, Ter

Of course the traffic rank is only among users of the Alexa Toolbar since if you don't have the toolbar, they don't know where you have been.

Why is the Alexa Toolbar important?

Well since Alexa Toolbar is mainly a business person's tool and those same business persons are the ones writing ezines and needing online content...

Where do you think they will search for articles?

In the article directories in the Alexa database of course!

So, if you make sure your articles are submitted to Article Directories that have registered with Alexa and have a good rank... you are one step closer to being found by those web masters needing your article for their ezines and web sites.

A good ranking on Alexa is 100,000 or below. Or, think of it as "The lower the rank the better the traffic!"

Here are some Article Directories that are ranked by Alexa:

http://ArticleCity.com
http://hotlib.com
http://jogena.com

http://digital-women.com

To find out the exact ranking or to see if other sites you visit have an Alexa ranking, go to http://alexa.com and download / install the toolbar for Internet Explorer.

Read the fine print and make sure you are OK with how it works. The toolbar has to send info back to Alexa or there is no way for them to know which sites are being visited! As far as I know, no identifiable information on you is sent back to Alexa, so I don't consider it a big deal.

Also Alexa Toolbar will be detected (probably) by your spyware detecting software for that same exact reason. Tell your software to ignore the toolbar software when it runs its spyware scans or you will have to re-install the toolbar every week!

Good luck and good writing!
