[C230]Carp Fishing With Accommodation
by Jeff Ryall, Jef
Ming Oil.
This liquid is a ruby, fishy blend and is considered to be one of the best warm water carp attractors when splashed over any sort of pellets to add real pulling power. Its also good in any boil mix, use 20-30 ml to per 1 kilo of dry mix.

Marmite.
Like the saying goes, you either love it or you hate it, well carp seem to love it. This is salty and very rich in vitamin B and they do seem to like it. Use between 15-30 ml with 6 eggs in a boil mix, sometimes warming the jar makes it easier to work with. Beware your bait may soften quicker in the pond, I also use dog biscuits soaked in marmite when fishing on the surface.

Corn Steep Liquor.
This is one of the biggest corn steep liquors or CSL is a brown thick liquid made during glucose extraction from maize. You can use this in a boil mix, pour it neat over ground bait or splash it over pellets. There are different qualities around and prices but try to buy one that is not been watered down to much as it looses its effectiveness.

Liquid Molasses.
Liquid molasses can come in many different strengths and sweetnesses. It can range from top quality to a bitter black strap molasses. It is very thick, sticky and tastes a bit like sugar that is been burnt. This liquid is very cheap and does not sound exciting which is perhaps why more anglers do not use it, but I find it quite good. Use it in a boil mix at 15 ml with six eggs or try it direct on pellets or something else.

Squirrel Dip.
Squirrel dip is a blend of several concentrated extracts and liquid foods. It is very reliable of getting a bite off a carp, whether it is in the warmer or colder months.
This is good whether you use it in a mix or as a dip. You can only get it through
Yateley Angling Centre or Tackle Box.

By using these liquids for carp fishing it has been known to catch carp up to 40lbs in weight but you must be sure to have the right tackle to land these big fish.

One of the most common game fish among anglers is the big carp, a Cyrpinidae family fish found in freshwaters. The most popular carp species found in the United States is the Cyrpinus carpio or the common carp. Among European countries, the carp has been the most well-known fish over the last decades and has become a multi billion-dollar fishing industry amidst the fiercely competitive and tight fishing tackle market.

Carp fishing can be both a frustrating and exciting angling activity. You might not know it but the big carp is really good in knowing suspicious-looking baits. You can have all the excitement even when you see your fish throw out bait as fast as it takes it in.

Big carp is still willing to devour all the bread, peas, biscuit and corn that you give it; these baits are recommended if only because you spend less money on them. Just attach any of these bait, but most especially the bread, to your hook. When using biscuits, you first have to soften it by wetting it in water for 3 minutes and placing it afterwards inside a plastic sandwich envelope or bag for an hour or so. Different varieties of biscuits have different kind of textures, so who try to check out among many which biscuit is firm for casting. Another method you can use in hooking bait is trying to glue a food pellet to the shank.

Once you are able to make them feed, give them some time to feel comfortable with your bait. This provides you much greater chance for success because the big carp starts to feel less picky. As soon as you notice that the carp are feeding, you may cast your bait but be sure that you do not drop it directly to the feeding fish. Cast the bait away first from the feeding location then you try to slowly draw it in the proper position. While your bait is hanging unnoticed, just throw in the food to keep the big carp from swimming away.

Thread your bait on the needle and then hook the loop. And since the big carp tastes its bait first before taking it in, you may use a piece of foam soaked in flavor to enhance the bait's attractiveness. Also create a bait needle by straightening any shank hook and then slide your bait on the hook. It is also advisable to use a float because it provides weight in throwing your bait farther and also helps in identifying the location.

You must realize that when trying to catch big carp, what is important is not the bait itself but actually the method in which your bait is introduced. Do pre-baiting for a few days on the same spot. This is a technique that will make the fish go to this spot on a regular basis. Soon you will see a school of carp around this area.
