The proportion and balance of the nose, chin, cheek, and jawline makes a major contribution toward the eprception of one's facial attractiveness. While swelling and recovery exists with all facial implant procedures, jaw angle implants has the greatest amount of recovery due to being placed under the chewing muscles. Opening the mouth can be sore for a few weeks after surgery.
