"Sometimes adversity is what you need to face in order to become successful." - Zig Ziglar. Great adversity can include overcoming impossible tasks, losing the loved ones, facing financial difficulties and running a challenging business. In such challenging times, there will be times of fatigue and tiredness especially mental capacity. But most of the time, one must realize that it is at this period that the individuals or team must never give up. How does one inspire, overcome adversity and achieve great goals?

Firstly, to overcome adversity, the individual must discover the reasons why he wants to overcome the adversity. The reasons can include doing it for the loved ones, inspiring the young ones and achieving dreams in life. Success path can be a real challenge as sometimes it can be a slow yet demanding process. During these periods, it tests the character of the individual. Through learning the experiences, one can realized that in such moments, the individuals' needs to dig deep inside, find the hero and courage in themselves to meet the challenge.

Thirdly, to overcome adversity, the individuals must realize that facing fears are part of the process. When facing fears, individuals have to decide whether the cowards or heroes in themselves will take control of the situation. In such situation, they need to be focus and decide the hero in them will motivate and overcome the adversity they are facing.

Adversity can define individuals' characters. We can realize that in times of challenges, we can learn more about ourselves and cherish the success more when overcoming adversity. Characters are built in such trying periods. One great lesson that overcoming adversity is to share the success stories with others. Such sharing will enable others to learn, benefit and be inspired from the experiences. Adversity is a success process. It tests your self esteem, confidence and courage to push yourself to go beyond your imaginations and achieve great dreams. When you are at the lowest point in facing adversity, dig deep in you and assure yourself that you will make it through. At the end of it, it is the adversity that can defines greatly the real you.
