Electric run vehicles are a great invention but are they the solution? and will we be using electric run cars in our everyday lives, let us take a look. We all know that full petrol and diesel run cars are coming to the end of there lifespan, this leaves room for a new breed, as we have already seen being released are hybrid motors which are very economical and a great match for the conventional cars.

I do not think that electric cars will catch on as fast as the hybrids, just for the simple fact that most people do not like to see major change. I do think however it is an up and coming idea. Most of us will only drive a vehicle that entails an exhaust and a gas tank during our lives. The electric vehicles will probably have a battery in the trunk that will power the car as well as a regulator to ensure the batteries always run at the correct power rate. The way in which electric motors will actually work is quite amazing. When you start up your vehicle the battery will use the power that is left there from the previous day and as you are driving it will recharge itself. All the functions will work the same such as your brakes your airbags and your power steering. There is one major floor that is currently stopping these sort of vehicles from hitting the mass market and that is the way in which they run, they just do not seem to have the ability to pick up much speed, so your journey would probably take twice as long as it usually would.

A great benefit from these types of vehicles can be seen in helping to save the environment, electric cars have a fabulous 0% emission rate, which will be great in helping so save the planet . Saying all of this an electric car can be great if you live in a city, as you have limits usually around 30mph, they would be a great benefit to your everyday tasks such as commuting through the city.

Although electric cars have been around for hundreds of years they have been limited by technology so all ended up failing in the long run. But with technology at an all time super height I believe we will be able to eventually triumph and create an electric car that has the ability to perform as well as the environmentally harmful vehicles.
