[B1137]Buy Out A Partner
by Marvin Perry, Mar
When you are in love sometimes you will feel the need to show your partner that you really care about them. Many people will try to accomplish this by purchasing expensive gifts for their partner. In this article we will discuss some of the reasons why I think it's a bad idea to give expensive gifts to your partner.

If you have been consistently buying your partner expensive gifts for their birthday, valentine's day, Christmas and on other occasions throughout the year, this might be a bad idea. Sure it may be great at first but think about what will happen if your partner gets comfortable with the thought of receiving expensive gifts from you on certain occasions throughout the year.

Think about how they will feel the first time you do not give them a gift for valentine's day? Your partner may be disappointed and they may feel as though you no longer care about them, or you no longer appreciate them. Your partner may think that you are having an affair with someone else.

You may try to explain to your partner that you were unable to get them a gift for whatever reason. However, deep down inside they will question your motive for not giving them an expensive gift.

Sometimes when you give an expensive gift to someone it may seen like you are trying to buy their love. Some people may resent receiving expensive gifts, while other people may enjoy it.

When you are buying expensive gifts for someone they might think you are an insecure person. Due to your insecurities the only way someone would love you is if you are consistently buying them expensive gifts to keep them happy.

You should always remember that the best things in life are free and there is nothing wrong with giving your partner a gift. However, the gift should not be an extravagant gift, you can get your partner a gift that you know they will appreciate for a reasonable price.

You can also give your partner something that you made yourself it could be clothing, furniture, jewelry... If you made the gift yourself it will have quite a bit of sentimental value to your partner, in many cases they may appreciate this more than if you bought them an expensive gift. It's the thought that counts, getting your partner a great gift should not cost you a fortune.
