Mobile phones have come along way in the last 10 years. If we rewind back 10 years ago, the only phones that used to be available where the really big chunky ones with only a dial feature and one basic ringtone. Nowadays we have a variety of ringtones, you can even create your own or record a song you like and use that as a ringtone.

Apart from that phones these days have amazing graphics so that you can play the top of the market games that are around, you no longer need a games console, other functions include being able to see the people that you speak to via video calling, if you mentioned to someone ten years ago that they will be able to see the person they are speaking too they would have probably laughed in your face let alone believed you.

So what does the future hold for this sort of market, I just feel as if the mobile phone and home phone market is going to keep on growing strong for years to come. The reason for saying this is because of the fact that a mobile phone, or any sort of phone for that matter is a must its just like eating and drinking you basically have to use one, whether its for paying bills or talking to friends and family the phone is an everyday communicator.

As the mass market grows newer features and technologies will have to be introduced to keep up with the trends. I feel as though phones are one of the fastest growing pieces of technology ever! I say this because these days a new version is released every few months, you just do not have time to keep up with them anymore, they are developing at tremendous speeds.

If we now fast forward 10 years into the future I believe that we will be blown away by phones, they will be the only thing we need to carry with us. Features could include things such as passing items through the phone, having projected images of the person you are speaking to so it would seem like they are right in front of you, it would also digitally store your keys to open your car, house or flat, a phone could even be a virtual friend who would speak to you and have an advanced conversation. Do not for one moment think that these features are impossible to create as this is what people thought 10 years ago, now look where we are.
