Why Nobody Will Read Your Article!
by Rich Lawson, Ric
Some people dread having to write anything - never mind a useful content rich article. Many feel like it seems to be too much work and never bother with article marketing at all.

Without writing your article in a friendly easy to read manner people may think the same about reading your article too!

Articles are supposed to be read - that's their purpose; to impart your message and information. If it's not read, then it's a waste of your time and effort.

Article marketing is a goldmine and if you're not employing this technique, or have ?given up? you're wasting a valuable resource. I assume that you're knowledgeable about your websites topic or theme and by providing good, well-written articles you can develop a loyal readership, trust and credibility

Here are 7 ?Smoking Hot Tips? to get your articles read.

1. Use A Good Title

Check out an article directory and browse the listings. Which ones catch your eyes? Why? Generally ?How To? titles, titles with numbers ?5 - ways to? and against the grain titles ?Why SEO is Dead? for example, work well. Write out lots of potential titles and see which you prefer.

2. Use Short Paragraphs

When the paragraph are very long, the words get jumbled in the mind of the reader just looking at it. The reader will just quickly disregard the paragraph and find something else to read.

3. Make Use Of Numbers Or Bullets

By using numbers or bullet points you help break the article into easily digestible information. Each bullet should be about 1 specific point to help get your message across.

4. Use Sub-Headings

This further helps your readers understand the article format and theme. When the human brain absorbs written information it doesn't read every single word. Use this to your advantage!

5. Maintain Interest

Say what you need to when explaining each point and no more. Nobody wants to carry on reading about something that they have already understood.

6. Keep Your Article To One Topic

Don't confuse your readers by trying to write about more than one thing at a time. If you're writing about ?how to build a beehive? don't complicate the article with information on ?how bees produce honey.? It's not necessary and just confuses your readers.

7. Watch Your Word Count

My research has shown that articles that are between 400 and 700 words generally get the best response. Test this for yourself in your niche but I'd be surprised if your results are vastly different.
