MINI IS BRITAINS LEAST DEPRECIATING CAR
by Eurotaxglass, Eur
The second-generation MINI has proved to be hugely popular with UK buyers in the five years since it was launched. Like its predecessor, the new car has now achieved something of a cult following and is one of the few cars on the market to be held in equal regard across the entire demographic make-up of the car buying public.

High build quality, appealing design and excellent performance and handling characteristics all combine to justify its position as one of the country's most ?in-demand? cars.

?In valuation terms the MINI has achieved a remarkable performance, particularly for a car that is now in its fifth year,? says Richard Crosthwaite Specialist Car Editor at EurotaxGlass's. ?Demand for the car remains sky-high thanks to its very obvious virtues. In terms of residual value, it is rare for a car to outperform the best of the prestige sector, particularly the established star performers such as Porsche.?

Glass's Guide, EurotaxGlass's industry ?bible? for used car valuation, states that MINI One retains 66 per cent over three year and 36,000 miles. Other star performers worthy of note are the Honda Jazz 1.4 dsi (62 per cent) and the Porsche Boxster 2.7 (62 per cent).
