MacLeod will be based in Zurich and London and will travel extensively throughout the Company's twenty eight country operations, meeting with customers and working with the local and regional teams. His role will be to maximize customer focus, driving the implementation and execution of the Group's strategy to provide world class business intelligence and decision making support to all customers in the automotive industry. The group has over 150,000 customers ranging from individual dealers through to global fleet operators and automobile manufacturers.

EurotaxGlass's Group CEO, Kevin Gaskell, who led a Candover backed management buy out of the business in May 2006 commented: ?We're very proud of our achievements over the past few years. The Group is growing fast and we've identified the need to bring in a strong COO to add weight to the operational management of the business. MacLeod will bring energy, drive and customer focus to the delivery of our strategy to the market and to our customers.?

MacLeod joins from the telecommunications industry, where his previous position was as Vice President, Business Solutions at the mobile telecommunications company Orange in the UK. Prior to that he has worked as an executive in a number of different roles, and co-founded a service provider business in 1999. He holds a Masters degree in Electronic Systems and an MBA from the London Business School.
