CONTENT ADVISORS

Internet Explorer

You can use the Content Advisor filter built in to Internet Explorer to prevent access to many websites. Go to Internet Explorer:
•click on Tools
•go to Internet Options
•click on the Content tab
•then click on Enable
•go to ratings tab
*set all levels to 0 for language, nudity, sex and violence,
(read each description for levels)

•go to general tab and create a password
•go to approved sites tab to approve or disapprove websites

You may go to help, click on Contents and Index, and type in content advisor for further assistance.

Internet Content Rating Associates www.icra.org/parents/

RULES FOR THE INTERNET

Once you have the other safety feature in place it is almost time to allow your children on the internet. Parental rules and guidelines should be established before your children are permitted to access the internet.
