5 Ways To Drive Traffic To Your Website Quickly
by Guido Nussbaum, Gui
Traffic is what drives our websites and keeps us in business whenever we are involved in Internet marketing. Getting that traffic to our website seems elusive for some yet to others, it seems to come easily. It isn't necessarily because they are doing something different than us, they may just know something that we are unaware of. If you want to drive a lot of traffic to your website, here are five different methods that will help you to do just that.

Web 2.0 Marketing - One of the newcomers onto the Internet marketing scene is Web 2.0 websites. These come in many different shapes and sizes but all of them are fantastic for pulling targeted traffic into your offers. One way in which you can use these websites to do this is by posting videos. You can create videos or use other content which you have permission to use. Make sure that it is interesting and directly related with what you're trying to offer. Post in on youtube and you would be surprised with exactly how many people will visit your webpage. Of course, you're going to have to include a link to your page that is visible in the video itself. Another way that you can use this form of marketing is social bookmarketing or blog and page generators such as Squidoo or blogger.

E-Mail Marketing - Many people tend to shy away from e-mail marketing because they equate anything that is sent out by these means to be spam. The fact of the matter is, if you have permission to e-mail someone it is perfectly legitimate for you to do so, even if you are offering something commercial. Don't try to go this alone, however, as you could end up in some hot water rather quickly. Get an autoresponder program, such as aweber which will allow you to manage your account online and take care of all your e-mail marketing needs from there.

Article Marketing - Another way in which many people were driving a lot of traffic to their websites is through article marketing. Although this particular type of marketing has been done for quite some time, it has enjoyed some recent publicity as a result of the bum marketing method. The idea behind it is relatively simple. Write articles that include longtail keyword phrases, specifically related to what you are offering. Post these on websites such as ezinearticles.com with a link back to your website and watch the traffic come in.

Forum Marketing - Although this form of marketing can get you in trouble if you do not do it properly, it is one of the most effective ways to quickly drive targeted traffic to your website. Simply find a forum which is talking about your subject, post intelligent messages and leave your link in the signature line.

Word-Of-Mouth Marketing - This is the most powerful form of marketing that you can have working in your corner. Offer something of value and people will gladly pass on your website to other individuals.
