it was not.
Things people do
things people stall.

Others were they
it was I .
Why did I go back
to read the book of life
from en d to beginning
from dark to light,

At least there was coming
and no retreat,
and you ended in celebration.

Enough was folded between the lines,
enough was spoken between the words
I was bewildered though
still I wanted to begin again!
