The Samsung SGH-T729 "Blast" is a slide phone with a very high networking capability. The many advanced features on this phone are supported by 11 MB of internal user memory and an extra 2G of external memory. The 262K TFT color display features 176 by 220 pixel resolution. Further, the SXGA (1280 by 1024 pixel) camera features 4x digital zoom, various photo effects and a number of different shot modes - including matrix, self, and multi shot. The phone is also capable of video recording.

The Samsung SGH-T729 "Blast" mobile phone includes an MP3 player and MP3 ringtones. The video recorder supports MP4 and 3GP video formats. In compact mode, the phone measures 4.16" high, 2.04" wide and 0.50" thick. The unit weighs 2.82 ounces. The display panel protects the keyboard when in compact mode, but allows the user easy access to the exterior control buttons.

The Samsung SGH-T729 "Blast" features voicemail, voice memo, and SMS/EMS message service. XT9 easy ext input allows users to text as fast as they need. Instant messaging and email checking capability also come standard with this cell phone.

The Samsung SGH-T729 "Blast" operates on the GSM 1900 MHz, GSM 850 MHz, GSM 1800 MHz and GSM 900 MHz bands, and can interface with USB and Bluetooth technology. The phone also uses EDGE Class10 and supports an Internet browser. Users can talk for up to 5 hours, and the phone will stand by for up to 200 hours.

The Samsung SGH-T729 "Blast" includes voice recognition, speakerphone, multiparty capability and various standard Personal Information Management features. The phone stores up to 1000 alphanumeric phone book entries. Additionally, the phone can sync calendars and contacts, and remembers previous incoming, outgoing and missed messages.

To conclude, the Samsung SGH-T729 "Blast" is an excellent texting phone - and it promises to keep up with even the fastest typist.
