Nokia N95 & N96, Difference in Storage, Connectivity & Music

by : Mark Hirst

The Nokia N95 and N96 are slightly different from each other when it comes to the three most important qualities of the phones. The three properties are storage, connectivity and music facility of the phone. Now for the common people these differences are quite simple but for the freaks of mobile phones these hold a great importance.

The FM radio is available with both the phones. But the stereo FM radio in Nokia N96 is now upgraded with the RDS system. You can also view the music information on the 2.8" screen of the phone.?

Moreover with this updated new model you get access to the Nokia music store which is almost a boon for the music lovers. You can also create the play lists like before but now make albums with a lot of colors.

The connectivity of the new phone does not undergo much change. The GPS system to help the users to get easy access to navigation and maps are still there. But it might get improved as Nokia has recently acquired Navteq, a leading GPS manufacturing company.

This is for sure that you will get a branded GPS system with the N96 handset just like the N95 one. The internet browser also remains the same in both models.?

The most remarkable change is observed in the storage space of the two phones. The Nokia n95 phone used to have a 4 GB memory wherein the new updated N96 comes with a far more decent space of 16 GB. You are free to use microSD cards that will expand the memory space up to 24 GB.

Therefore the new phone will be able to stock more amounts of data, music, tunes and videos. So if you are ready to update with Nokia then simply get rid of N95 when N96 hits the market.?
