And Now...announcing the 8th Wonder of the World by :
Simon Smith
A new day has dawned in this world of ours that has now become so accustomed to the unnatural events and developments that grace us from time to time. These developments have been known to leave humans so awestruck that a permanent impact gets implanted into their minds. In an attempt to retain the significance of such events and developments, humans have engineered a clever method to book them down through meaningful sobriquets. In an almost remarkable similarity, historically rich places of global reputation and popularity are recognised as the torch bearers of universal heritage by being acclaimed as the incredible Wonders of the World. This year, a group of some of the most astoundingly intriguing wonders have been chosen as the new 7 Wonders of the World. The new list comprises of the Great Wall of China, the ancient city of Petra in Jordan, the statue of Christ Redeemer in Brazil, The Inca city of Machu Picchu in Peru, the Mayan temple of Chichen ItzĂ? in Mexico, the Roman Colosseum in Italy and the Taj Mahal in India.
